The Aon Benfield and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) Scholarship was established to recognise an outstanding insurance professional in the Australian and New Zealand insurance markets and emphasise the importance of continuing professional development in all aspects of insurance.

To apply for the scholarship, applicants are required to submit a 2,500 word essay on a topic determined by the Judging Panel. The winner of the scholarship attends the Annual Aon Benfield Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar held in London, United Kingdom.

The scholarship is open to Australian and New Zealand residents with at least two year’s experience working in insurance or reinsurance. Typically award recipients will be 35 years of age and under.

2010 Winner announced

The winner of the 2010 Aon Benfield Scholarship is Andrew Bojkowski from APRA. Andrew will be attending the Aon Benfield Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar in London, UK, from 21st June to 1st July 2010. Congratulations Andrew!
