Les Dobson Reinsurance Prize Established by Helen Dobson, Benfield Group and the Institute, the Les Dobson Reinsurance Prize recognises the highest achieving New Zealand reinsurance student, who has obtained an overall grade of Distinction or High Distinction (a mark of 70 -100). The winning student receives NZ$1,000 to assist with their studies.
2007 is the first year this prize will be awarded. The winner will be announced mid-year.
About Les Dobson
Les Dobson was a former Managing Director of Benfield New Zealand Limited and his passing in June 2006 left the New Zealand insurance and reinsurance industry without one of its most charismatic and respected practitioners.
